Line Operator (Overnights)

**$1,500 Sign-On Bonus**

The Opportunity

Precious Plate is hiring a Line Operator to join our team. As a Line operator, you will perform a variety of activities required to manufacture products, including the reel-to-reel operating of our electroplating manufacturing lines. This is a full-time position, working from 7pm – 7am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use of the reel-to-reel electroplating manufacturing lines and/or equipment to convert raw materials into plated product
• Operate machinery according to company procedures and work instructions
• Follow the sequence of the production schedule
• Accurately report work orders and results on a daily time sheet
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions
• Ability to identify and communicate manufacturing problems to supervisor
• Math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others
• Ability to operate hoists and other motorized equipment to move material
• Ability to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop and kneel, stand for 8 to 12 hours per day, and push, pull or lift up to 50lbs as needed to perform essential job functions
• Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions

Working Conditions

• Regularly works with chemical solutions
• Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature
• Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required
• Other PPE may be required depending on responsibilities
• Could be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
