Job Summary:

Preferred Precision Group is looking for knowledgeable individuals to fill our Conveyor Component Specialist roles. This individual will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, completing final assembly of products and painting packaging of products, as well as helping to ensure timely deliveries and a quality product.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A post hiring physical and drug screen must be successfully completed. Background, DMV, and drug and alcohol screening may be conducted as a condition of employment and continued employment.

Essential Duties:

• Extensive use of tools associated with assigned job task.
• Pay attention to quality and help ensure that the customer receives only the highest quality products.
• Establish good communications, and working rapport with supervisors, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure a high level of customer service is delivered.
• Understand the products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
• Read a tape measure and understand engineer drawings.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate a forklift.
• Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift with overtime as required by company.
• Apply verbal and written communication skills to communicate important issues to management and co-workers.
• Trustworthy, strong work ethic, positive attitude.
• Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player and handling other assigned tasks as required by company.

· 1 year experience or training.

· Must be able to complete forklift certification offered by company.

Dress Code: Safety work boots.

Safety glasses, hard hat, and earplugs will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
