Duties and responsibilities include:
- Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice as stated in the appropriate Radiation Rules and Regulations.
- Compliance with established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient histories and vital signs.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
- Administer injections and applies dressings as instructed and appropriate.
- Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
- Assist healthcare providers in preparing for minor clinical procedures and exams as instructed and appropriate.
- Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments.
- Maintain patient records and other information.
- Perform direct patient care as instructed by the healthcare provider if appropriate.
- Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition at all times.
- Perform related clerical duties such as filing and scheduling patients as required.
- Skill in documenting and maintaining patient care records.
- Skill in following medical quality assurance and quality control standards.
- Participates in education programs and attends meetings as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or described by our facility policy.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- High school diploma/G.E.D. and completion of a LMRT Training program through an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of Medical and Nursing terminology.
- Positive and effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to use equipment and related supplies.
Certification: Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute or National Safety Council
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 39 per week
