Applicant's duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• A commitment to children and families
• Desire to make changes to improve the quality of the current program
• Facilitating a curriculum that meets the Arizona Infant and Toddler Guidelines
• A deep understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
• Building responsive, nurturing relationships with children, families, and co-workers
• Coaching peers on improving their practices
• Supervising children
• Providing a safe, healthy, engaging learning environment to support the whole child
• Exceeding the Department of Health's Child Care Licensing rules and regulations
• Meeting quality early learning standards
• Recording children's development and building portfolios
• Positively guiding children's behaviors
• Effectively communicating with children, families, and co-workers
• Documenting required duties and responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A commitment to children and families
• Desire to make changes to improve the quality of the current program
• A minimum of six month's experience in a licensed child care facility in the two year old classroom
• Willingness to obtain a degree or Child Development Association (CDA) credential
• A current Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Negative TB Test in the last 12 months

• Wages are increased for a CDA, associate degree in early childhood education, or bachelor degree in early childhood education
