Duties:
- Greet patients at check-in and ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Gather and verify insurance information and other necessary details for the patient’s chart.
- Answer a multi-line telephone system in a courteous and professional manner.
- Typing and data entry for patient information and medical records.
- Collect payments from patients and provide receipts.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Maintain and update medical records accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Proficient typing skills and familiarity with data entry.
- Ability to handle a multi-line telephone system.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
