Lead Electrical Engineer

Role: Electrical Lead

Location: Florence, SC

Type: Long-Term Contract

Requirements:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Candidates should have industry-relevant experience in LV switchgear design and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of LV switchgear products, including MCC, PCC panels, Databar/Busways, Tap-off boxes, metering, and protection relays.
• Experience in designing electrical LV control panels.
• Knowledge of engineering calculations (e.g., busbars, cables).
• Familiarity with ANSI codes for control and protection is preferred.
• Relevant experience in generating general arrangement and control schematic drawings.
• Ability to generate wire harnesses based on schematics.
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Autodesk Vault.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering and production teams on engineering activities.
