Baker's Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bakers Assistant to join our team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for helping preparing a variety of baked goods, including calzones, pies and breads. Your attention to detail and knowledge of culinary techniques will ensure that our customers receive high-quality and delicious baked goods.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including calzones, pies, and breads

- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent results

- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity as needed

- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed

- Package finished products for display or sale

- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery selections

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bakery

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a bakery teammate or in a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of pastry and culinary techniques

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
