Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Professional Furniture Delivery Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering and setting up high-quality furniture, including sofas, sectionals, dining rooms, bedrooms, as well as hearth products like wood stoves, gas stoves, fireplaces, and accessories. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a box truck to deliver furniture and hearth products across Connecticut and Rhode Island.
- Perform careful and efficient loading, unloading, and delivery of heavy items.
- Set up furniture and hearth products in customers' homes, ensuring they are properly placed and installed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure all items are in perfect condition before leaving the warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during delivery and setup.
Requirements:
- Must be 25 years old or older.
- Clean driving history.
- No CDL required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Experience in handling and delivering furniture and/or hearth products is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
