Position Title: Project Manager

Location: Prestressed Concrete, Newton, KS

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old

Position Type: Full-Time, Managerial

Description:

As a Project Manager at Prestressed Concrete, you will oversee and manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring that they meet all specifications, budgets, and timelines. This senior-level position involves assigning responsibilities, communicating with key stakeholders, developing project plans, and monitoring costs and project deliverables. Your role will also include estimating project costs and resources, making it essential to have strong project management and estimation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
• Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth project execution and addressing any challenges promptly.
• Create and deliver project status presentations to customers and project personnel, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and changes.
• Develop and update comprehensive project plans, including objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing requirements.
• Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules, and allocate resources accordingly.
• Identify, review, and select vendors or consultants to meet project requirements, ensuring they meet quality and cost standards.
• Monitor costs incurred by project staff and identify budget issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to stay within budget.
• Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management and cost estimation within the construction or precast concrete industry.
• Proven experience in developing and managing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage project teams, and resolve issues.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Experience in selecting and managing vendors or consultants.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
