Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Hybrid - Austin, TX
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts while supporting manual testing as needed. The position is hybrid, requiring 1 day onsite in Austin, TX (Tuesdays) and 4 days remote per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain automated test cases using WebdriverIO or similar tools.
- Execute both manual and automated test scripts to ensure quality and reliability.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices and test documentation.
- Schedule regular automated test execution and generate comprehensive reports.
- Use Jira and XRay for defect logging, tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to support development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Lead UAT activities and troubleshoot test cases when necessary.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in manual test script execution.
- 8 years of experience in automated QA testing.
- 8 years of experience creating QA test scripts.
- 8 years of performance testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and testing tools like Selenium.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and tools like Jira and XRay.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid schedule: 1 day onsite (Tuesdays) in Austin, TX, and 4 days remote.
- Standard business hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required.
