PRIDE OUTFITTING is Arizona’s largest, fastest growing, Ranked #1 vehicle outfitter for high quality and timely installations. Our clients include Federal Law Enforcement agencies, State and Municipal Police, Sheriff, Fire, Public Works departments and private companies from across the United States. The Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVT) we accept will be skilled professionals with experience working with 12V systems; lighting, audio systems, radio systems, as well as, fabrication and installation of a variety of accessories. The EVT will be a self-starter, open-minded to build on their skills, and a problem solver who works well within in a team environment, and individually without constant supervision. The EVT role offered is full time, on-site at our Chandler, AZ Facility, and the EVT must be available weekdays and occasional Saturdays as demand dictates.
Qualifications
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Produce safe, accurate & timely installation of equipment
- Ability to work within a team atmosphere
- Continued education to stay abreast of the latest industry training methods, standards, and best practices; programming, installations, certifications, and products
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide the highest quality vehicle outfitting that is above reproach
- Follow and execute the direction given by Team Leader
- Provide ideas, suggestions, and concerns to Team Lead
- Complete all required or requested paperwork timely
- Work well within a close knit team, while being able to work solo on one-off projects
- Participate in pre-production walkarounds (PPW) with Team Lead to ask questions, know the manhours allotted to the build, gather install locations, confirm the wiring plan, flash patterns, and programming
- Notify the Team Lead immediately of better solutions and any damage noticed or created
- Make sure daily that the work environment is kept safe, clean, and free of trash

- Active participant in all company meetings; weekly shop, reviews of Team,
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- 12-volt systems - automotive electrical knowledge ( 1 years)
- Emergency lighting installation experience ( 1 years)
- Emergency Vehicle Technician certification (Current & Valid)
- Understands diodes and resisters; can explain their proper use and functions
- Able to strip out and reinstall the interior of a vehicle without causing damage
- Understands / operate a multimeter, power probe, test light, DMM
- Able to professionally crimp, solder, heat shrink, loom wires
- Must have own tools toolbox provided by company
- Fabrication and modification of new and existing bracketry
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Clean 39-month MVR
- Must have a clean criminal record, and pass a thorough background check
- Participation in a drug screening program to promote a drug-free work environment
- Participation in company cultural assessment
- Basic assembly and dis-assembly knowledge
- Must be able to communicate effectively
