Pride Health is hiring for a Travel EMT to support our client’s medical facility based in Shakopee, MN. This is a 13-week opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical care in pre-hospital settings.
- Assess patients' conditions, administer basic life support, and assist with medical procedures as directed by paramedics.
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities, ensuring continuous care during transit.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and transport details accurately.
- Ensure emergency vehicles are clean, stocked, and in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and patients' families to coordinate care and provide updates.
- Work in various locations across Minnesota and western Wisconsin, with opportunities for career development and training.
Education/Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or Vocational degree one to two years post-secondary education in a health-related field preferred
- Basic Life Support required.
- Licensed Emergency Medical Tech - EMT - MN Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board required if working in MN
- Licensed Emergency Medical Tech - EMT - WI - Emergency Medical Services required if working in WI
- Medical Terminology preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Work Setting Experience Required: Acute Care, Urgent Care, Trauma Level 3, and Teaching
- Work Setting Experience Preferred: Urgent Care, Trauma Level 1, Trauma Level 2, and Children's Hospital
- General Skills Experience Required: Vital signs, 12 lead EKG, AED/Defibrillator, Splinting, Wound Care, Crutch Training.
- Patient Care Tech—a minimum of 1 year of ED experience.

Shift Schedule: Eves (11a-11p and 3p-3a)
Pay Range: $1000 to $1300/weekly
