As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will ensure that in-process parts, assemblies, and installations meet stringent quality standards by utilizing precision measuring tools and your keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of in-process parts, assemblies, and installations, referring to drawings, inspection plans, and specifications to evaluate adherence to quality standards.
• Precisely measure product dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height gages, scales, and other precision measuring devices.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail during the inspection process to identify defects, malfunctions, or non-conformances.
• Demonstrate strong independent work capabilities while collaborating effectively with the quality control team.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations, including algebra and geometry, for inspection setups and dimensional layouts.
• Communicate inspection findings clearly, both verbally and in written reports, to accurately document non-conformances and provide guidance for necessary improvements.
• Ensure full compliance with the company's DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
• Consistently demonstrate regular and predictable attendance to support continuous operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in quality assurance or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, and scales.
• Strong mathematical skills, including proficiency in algebra and geometry.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Full compliance with company policies and regulations, including the DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
