Job Title – Operating Room Assistant

Location: Shiprock , NM 87420

Duration: 6 months to 1 year

Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri (40hours per week)

Start Date: Mar 2025

Qualification

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Prefered

Experience: Shall have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months relevant experience within the last thirty-six (36) months

Certifications: BLS Mandatory

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Operating Room Assistant to support the surgical team and ensure the smooth operation of the operating room (OR). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, preparing the OR for surgeries, and assisting in patient care and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the operating room.
• Assist with positioning and prepping the patient for surgery (e.g., draping, securing).
• Clean and disinfect operating rooms and surgical equipment after procedures.
• Restock supplies and ensure the operating room is ready for the next procedure.
• Handle non-sterile equipment and manage waste disposal.
• Assist with setting up non-sterile areas or equipment as needed.
