X-Ray Technician

Job Overview
Princeton Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a full-time X-ray Technician to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to be a part of our commitment in bringing extraordinary care to the community.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Process digital radiological images
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians
• Assist medical assistants, physicians and patient as needed
• Cleans and maintains x-ray rooms
• Logs in patient films and related correspondence
• Makes CD copies for patients

Qualifications:

• Licensed in accordance with the state of NJ
• Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Graduated from an X-ray Tech program
• BLS Certification (preferred)
• Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor
• Have strong communication skills
• Be capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
