Job Overview
Princeton Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a full-time X-ray Technician to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to be a part of our commitment in bringing extraordinary care to the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
- Process digital radiological images
- Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians
- Assist medical assistants, physicians and patient as needed
- Cleans and maintains x-ray rooms
- Logs in patient films and related correspondence
- Makes CD copies for patients
Qualifications:
- Licensed in accordance with the state of NJ
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Graduated from an X-ray Tech program
- BLS Certification (preferred)
- Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor
- Have strong communication skills
- Be capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
