PreK Nurse to support Private Providers:
The district is seeking a health specialist to assist students, families and staff in attaining and maintaining optimal health and health attitudes for district preschool students placed at private provider sites. The district has 135 children placed with three private providers in 5 different locations.
Scope of Work:
The district anticipates approximately 132 hours of work over 10 months in accordance with the district calendar. Nursing responsibilities may be conducted during the normal school day, virtually and in-person. At least one night event is expected. The PreK Private Provider nurse is expected to schedule time at each site for screenings and collaboration with center directors, family workers and district PreK administration and Community Parent Involvement Specialist in the above-mentioned duties. Annual total wages not to exceed $10,000.
