What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper/Laundry (Full-time) position at Private Family?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper/Laundry personnel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion in their work and meticulous attention to detail.
The ideal candidate would be willing to service 2 homes owned by the family (one in Marion, MA which is primarily occupied from June - September, and the main home located in Jamaica Plain, MA)
Duties:
- Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing linens and family clothing
- Ensure all rooms and common areas are maintained and cleaned to a high standard and gently so as to not damage any of the fine decor and furnishings throughout the home
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly
- Regularly change all linen in the bedrooms (bedding, towels, etc)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping, industrial cleaning, or related field
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
