What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time Nanny for two children (Thursday and Friday) position at Private Family?
Our current nanny needs to reduce her hours for school so we are looking for someone available Thursdays and Fridays. Care would be provided in our home in Helena weekdays 7:30am to 4:30/5:00pm. We have a 5yo and a 20 month old. The 5 year old goes to a part time program on Fridays. Responsibilities are directly related to childcare. Meals will be prepared by us each day (with rare exceptions). Start date is somewhat flexible.
Prior experience with children and toddlers is required, ideally in a similar position or even a daycare. We would prefer experience managing more than one child. References will be requested prior to starting.
You must have a working cell phone, reliable car, be a non-smoker (and not live in a home with smokers), and not have a criminal record. High school diploma or GED required. Reliability and dependability is a core requirement, as well as attention to safety and the ability to engage with the children and manage behavior without yelling or time outs.
**There is a possibility to create a full time position come March, if interested**
