Dryer Systems Trainee - Fair Oaks

Description/Job Summary

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00a.m. - 5:00p.m., overtime as needed including weekends. Must be able to work 7 days a week 12 hour shifts day or night for approximately 3 months during harvest.

Job Summary: This position is to learn the different systems of the dryer facility and to assisting with weighing and dumping trucks, keeping the dryer facility clean (sweeping, scooping, etc.), assist with drying and shipping rice as needed, and assist with maintenance when needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 1 year Industrial work experience (grain experience preferred).
• Must possess mechanical aptitude experience with basic hand & power tools.
• Must possess basic math skills. ( , -, *, /, and take measurements)
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 200ft.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to be trained to ride man - lift.
• Must be willing and able to be trained to weigh, grade, sample, transfer rice, and all required paperwork.
• Must be willing and able to be trained to drive a 10 speed Bob Truck.
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
• Must be willing and able to be trained to operate heavy equipment.
