PCS is an innovative company looking to add to our best-in-class field with an ICT Systems Estimator! Position Overview:
The ICT Systems Estimator will manage and support the complete life cycle of all size projects, including moderately-to-highly complex projects. This includes design, approval, planning, execution, and closeout to successfully reach project goals in a timely manner. Under the supervision of an RCDD, the ICT Systems Estimator will utilize various estimating tools and software to complete customer designs and facilitate project estimates.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Familiarity with methods of design to support the ICT Systems industry, codes, and BICSI standards.
- High level of initiative, with the ability to synthesize new technologies, industry trends, and client needs to make recommendations and initiative changes that add efficiency and value.
- Ability to multi-task and synthesize multiple data points and instructions to timely produce accurate deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer and smart phone skills needed.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience working with Structured Cabling, Physical Security, Audio/Visual and/or other technology based systems.
- Related experience working in the trades/contracting/sub-contracting industry.
- Familiarity with electrical and/or low voltsge technology solutions.
- Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
- Knowledge in ICT structured cabling design technologies and standards.
