Progressive Careers & Housing is a non-profit agency that provides quality residential and vocational services for adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a passionate, creative, hard-working Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop, implement, and train staff on behavior management plans and interventions. This position reports to the Director of Operations and works in conjunction with other BCBA and management team members.
· Conducting functional assessments
· Developing individualized behavior intervention plans
· Training agency staff members to implement behavior management plans
· Facilitating ongoing data collection and data analysis
· Attend weekly meetings with the management team
· Attend ISP meetings and assist with coordination of these meetings as assigned
· Responsible for timely reports and clinical documentation
· Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights and weekends as needed for training, observations, and emergencies.
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
· Experience creating and implementing behavior management plans, completing functional assessments, and training staff on the implementation of proactive, reinforcement, and intervention strategies.
· Ability to interact effectively and sensitively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs.
· Previous experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
· Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate sound judgment, and utilize appropriate interventions as necessary
· Hours: Monday - Friday (Available from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.). Will have early and late hours as dictated by the caseload and on call 24/7 for emergencies.
· Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal direct supervision
· Minimum 1 year experience with the developmentally disabled population
· BCBA certification
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
· Valid Illinois driver’s license in good standing with ability to travel to multiple sites, required
