Job Summary:
The BZP Tuolumne County Community Liaison will work closely with the Organization Team and Executive Director and is responsible for personifying and championing the Blue Zones Project message and principles through collaborations with worksites, schools, restaurants & grocery stores. This position will support grassroots efforts to engage, boost community awareness, educate, and mobilize community members and businesses in Blue Zones Project activities and initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong ties and deep relationships in the community and is familiar with the Blue Zones Project initiative and how it relates to well-being.
*This is an on-site position and will require a COVID-19 vaccination.
*This is a part-time role with an estimated 12-10-24 hour work week schedule.
Essential Job Functions:

• Spread brand awareness through organic marketing techniques
• Distribute promotional posters, stickers, and flyers throughout the community including medical facilities
• Encourage attendance at BZP events and activities
• Ability to interact with people of all ages from pre-K to senior adults
• Awareness of eating healthy guidelines

• Facilitate cooking demonstrations
• Support Org Lead with Blue Zones Project efforts with worksites, schools, grocery stores & restaurants
• Attend relevant events to promote and represent Blue Zones Project

Salary:

• $30.00 - $38.00/hour based on experience
