This Rail Service/Assembly Technician will be responsible for highly skilled installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with mechanical and electrical assemblies. Job Title: Rail Service Technician
Job Type: Full-time/Salaried/Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $25-38/hour, depending upon prior experience/skill level
Hours: Candidates must have flexibility in their schedule to work varying shifts (1st, 2nd and 3rd)

Essential functions for this Assembly/Service Technician will include:
- Troubleshooting, repairing and installation of equipment.
- Layout, assemble, test, and install apparatus and equipment, working from blueprints schematics, sketches, verbal instructions and other specifications.
- Prep/study any documentation related but not limited to assembly instructions, FMIs, blueprint specifications, parts lists, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Align, fit and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools and blueprints.
- Verify specifications by measuring/testing completed components
- Install, repair and service specialized mechanical equipment, machinery, panels as well as wiring/harnesses.
We're actively seeking Assembly/Service Techs with the following background profile:
- High School diploma or GED, Technical school or associated certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years industrial maintenance/assembly related experience.
- Previous experience in the automotive, aerospace and/or transportation industries is a HUGE plus!
- Must have strong skills in mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment troubleshooting
- Must have strong troubleshooting and blueprint schematics reading skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (word and excel)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
