(Warehouse Lead) Job Summary
- 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm

- $24 hourly
- Our client is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join their dynamic team at the Plainfield location. This is an exciting opportunity for a warehouse professional who is ready to take on a leadership role. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety, while leading a team of warehouse associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing coaching, training, and guidance.
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products in accordance with safety and company standards.
- Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse issues, ensuring operational challenges are addressed swiftly.
(Warehouse Lead) Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, ideally in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification may be required.
