Promising Futures, Inc. is a social service agency in the area of child welfare. Our goal is to break the cycle and silence of violence. We partner with various agencies to accomplish the goal of keeping families safe. We are looking for individuals who have a passion to help those in need.

Job Title/Type: Child Welfare Case Manager I is a W2 position

Rate of Pay based upon experience

Rate of Pay: First active 90 days (probationary period) $20.20/hr.

Rate of Pay: After active 90 days (post-probationary period) $23.00/hr.- 25.00/hr. Overtime (salary amount excludes benefits
listed below of paid holidays, cellphone reimbursement, mileage
reimbursement, paid time off and etc. )

  • Home visits

  • Parenting education/training
  • Family communication
  • Facilitate transportation
  • Facilitate support groups
  • Participation in Child and Family Team meetings
  • Family reunification/preservation
  • Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) support
  • Foster family support
  • Advocacy
  • Family assessment
  • Community referrals and follow-up
  • Develop structure/time management
  • Behavior modification
  • Budgeting/money management
  • Meal planning/preparation
  • Parent training with children present
  • Monitor Progress of Parenting Skills
  • Community Services Information
  • Develop Long and Short-Term Goals
  • Tutoring
  • Father's Engagement Services
  • Truancy Termination Classes
  • Mentoring
  • Independent Living Skills
  • High School Credit Recovery
  • Participation in Court Hearings
  • Document client Progress Notes and Reports in the company database
  • Consistent Communication with Referring Sources

The ideal candidate will work in the following counties:

Henry County and the surrounding counties, which can be up to 60 miles in any direction, in rare cases it can exceed more than 60 miles in any direction. Clients will be seen in the community, an agency facility or in the client's home.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Sociology, or Social Work b) Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work; OR c) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a directly related human services field.

General Requirements:

  • Must pass all background checks which includes: National FBI Check; National Sex Offender; Child Protective Services Check; Local Background Checks
  • Must pass all drug screens
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must have a reliable vehicle with the ability to use private car to transport self and others.
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be able to have a flexible schedule
  • The Employee is responsible for obtaining Automobile insurance coverage($100,000/$300,000).
