Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of systems and structures within our residential properties.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections at assigned location to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Supervise contractors and coordinate work schedules effectively.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in multi-family maintenance.
- HVAC certification is required.
- Previous experience supervising or leading a team is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
