Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for furniture design and production.
- Optimize machine programs and nesting for maximum efficiency, minimizing time and material waste.
- Adhere to production schedules and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Identify design or production issues and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate, high-quality output.
- Maintain accurate documentation and drawings for production and future reference.
- Assist in the design process for new product lines or custom furniture solutions.
- Work with Router-CIM and G-code to ensure machine optimization (experience with these is preferred).
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required) for reporting and communication.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced skill level in AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience with AutoCAD 3D is a plus.
- Familiarity with Router-CIM software is preferred.
- Experience with G-code and machine optimization.
- Strong understanding of production schedules and time/material efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
- Excellent communication skills (must be fluent in English; Spanish is a plus).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
