Our award-winning client is seeking an Subject Matter Expert in Electrical Design (PE) to join their team.We are seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert in Electrical Design (PE) with a strong background in power systems design to join our team. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative power distribution solutions for mission-critical applications. You will collaborate with clients, lead engineering teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive electrical designs for power distribution systems, including medium and high voltage switchgear, UPS systems, and control systems.
- Integrate various electrical and mechanical components, such as HVAC systems and access control systems, to ensure seamless operation.
- Design robust and durable enclosures and tanks, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, environmental conditions, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Oversee the engineering phase of projects, including task scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the power systems or mission-critical industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including power distribution, control systems, and protection systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Knowledge of structural analysis and materials selection.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- P.E. license (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
