About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for creating advanced data solutions, maintaining legacy systems, and supporting decision-making processes across multiple departments. This is a mid-level role for a professional who is ready to hit the ground running with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights.
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes across various databases, ensuring data quality and integration.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Maintain and adapt legacy systems written in VB (Visual Basic) and C# , as needed.
- Work with diverse data sources, including :
- ERP system (Index, steel industry-specific ERP).
- Paycom (HR system).
- Various internal data repositories.
- Occasionally support Excel-based data analysis and reporting initiatives.
