We are seeking a talented and organized Associate Designer to join our team full-time for a well known brand in the fashion industry. This role focuses on knits and soft wovens while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality, contemporary products.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in knits and soft wovens, particularly in contemporary fashion.
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel; PLM knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, yarns, fabrics, and tech pack creation.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Creative and detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development for knitwear and assist with other categories like Swim and Resortwear.
- Collaborate with Technical Design and Production teams to ensure quality and fit.
- Bring new ideas to design meetings and create sketches and tech packs.
- Review lab dips, prints, and materials for seasonal launches.
- Prepare instructional documents and manage the BOM process in PLM.
