What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Mental Health Case Manager position at PsyCare, Inc?
PsyCare Inc. is hiring a community based psychiatric case manager (PCM). The PCM is responsible for providing Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) and Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) service delivery through face to face or telephone contact, community outreach and advocacy, and individual and group psycho education. If not independently licensed, the case manager will work under the supervision of a licensed staff member. The area to be served includes Mahoning and Trumbull Counties. The skills and ability to see both children and adults would be a great benefit. Applicants must be able to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) in the state of Ohio. Services are billed via Ohio Medicaid, and applicants must possess either 3 years experience, or a related Bachelors or Masters Degree.
- Consistent and timely documentation of professional services is a requirement.
- The PCM provides mainly home based client visits in the community.
- Knowledge of local, federal, and state resources, programs and benefits is expected.
- Organizational skills, good time management, and computer literacy are a key to success in the position.
