Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Weekend Supervisor to join our team. House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the weekend operations by Division ensuring the delivery of quality care and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The House Supervisor will supervise Direct Support Professionals and will collaborate closely with the House Leaders, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to create and maintain a person-centered, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Duties

  • Oversee the weekend operations of the group homes within the Division ensuring locations are safe, clean, and comfortable living environments for individuals.
  • Supervise the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the assigned Division along with providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of quality care and support services along with supporting the House Leaders within the Division.
  • Maintaining routine visits to locations within the assigned Division to support the development and implementing individualized service plans (ISPs) in collaboration with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members, and ensuring that goals and objectives are met.
  • Monitor individuals' well-being, safety, and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary and communicating changes to the interdisciplinary team and families.
  • Ensure that medication administration, medical appointments, and other healthcare-related activities are completed according to prescribed guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, staff schedules, and other required records.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between individuals, families, and interdisciplinary team members, promoting a collaborative approach to care and support.
  • Participate in regular meetings and maintain ongoing communication with other management personnel as needed to convey with work schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations (as required by DBHDS), including confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and resources to promote community integration and support for residents.
  • Address and resolve any concerns or conflicts that may arise within the group home, involving individuals, DSPS and their families as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by The Program Director.

Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience collaborating with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably in a group home setting.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check, social services check (CRS) and drug screening.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of person-centered care principles and applicable regulations and standards related to care and support.
  • Ability to work a weekend schedule, any necessary shift during the weekday if applicable and availability to support the team if any needed to full-fill any gapping of schedule.
  • Physical ability to perform necessary tasks, including lifting and transferring residents, as needed.
  • Medication Administration Certified or will obtain within 60 days of start date and maintains certification throughout employment completing continuing education and recertification requirements as defined by QLIFE, LLC.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified or will obtain within 15 days of start date and maintain certification throughout employment.
  • MANDT certified or will obtain within 20 days of start date and maintains certification throughout employment.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
