## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at an outpatient surgery center in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations, ensuring all equipment is prepared and patients are cared for before, during, and after surgery.
**Must have a current Surgical Technologist Certification**
7am to 3:30pm - NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS!
## Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is sterile and ready for use
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with data collection as needed
- Provide post-operative care to patients, including wound dressing and monitoring recovery
- Maintain a clean and organized surgical area before, during, and after procedures
## Skills
- Experience in surgery center setting, ortho is a plus
- Knowledge of anatomy and acute care procedures
- Familiarity with working in an ambulatory surgery center or outpatient surgery center
- Ability to collect and record patient data accurately
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring techniques
