Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Article 16 Clinic and Community Services to supervise staff and coordinate clinical services of the QCP Article 16 Clinic by following prescribed procedures and reporting requirements. The Director will monitor and ensure regulatory compliance in our Article 16 Clinic operations.
Responsibilities:
- Screen and hire staff, direct and supervise clinical staff, ensure completion and timely distribution of clinical reports. Evaluate staff performance and address staff deficiencies with corrective measures and provide clinical staff training
- Monitor budget targets, coordinate daily billing and submission, problem-solve referrals, insurance/other payments, staff schedule, and overall clinic operations
- Perform treatment coordination, conduct social work evaluations and/or psychotherapy, certify social work evaluations and psychotherapy service
- Formulate policies aligned with NYS/OPWDD Regulations and licensed clinical practice
- Demonstrate knowledge of clinic (part 679) regulations and other related OPWDD/NYS/NYC regulations to guide the daily clinic operations
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology. LCSW or MA/MS Psychology required
- Experience in NYS/OPWDD regulations specifically Article 16 Clinic operations
- Demonstrated managerial skills and clinical knowledge/skills of the IDD system
- Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare or community setting
- Proficient in program management and budgeting.
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
