Roles & Responsibilities :
The role of Quality Technician / Inspector is a non-production, technical role focused on the quality review, inspection, and detailed documentation of Aero-Engine components in conjunction with improving the production and performance of gas turbine engines. Part Reviews are conducted at our customer’s site – and your work is an extension of our Connecticut-based hub of operations that provides a full array of Quality Engineering Services to global customers.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency) :
- Ability to read / interpret part drawings information (including an understanding of GD&T and part layouts).
- Prior experience performing Hand / Bench Gaging, Visual Inspect, Technical documentation.
- Microsoft Office suite experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Data entry into web-based applications.
- Familiarity with photographic equipment, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
- Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
