Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical crews on-site to ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam, Primavera, HeavyBid, and Prolog for project management and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Implement OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Manage contract obligations and ensure that materials and labor are utilized effectively.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose problems accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and installation procedures.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and familiarity with construction management software (Bluebeam, Primavera, HeavyBid, Prolog).
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
