The GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) is responsible for providing essential support to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to nursing staff.
Help patients with mobility and transportation needs, including transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff.
Complete required documentation accurately.
Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures.
Must have a valid GNA certification and CPR certification.
Covid Vaccination required or religious waiver provided
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
