A Quality Control Supervisor ensures that the final product observes the QuickBox quality standards. In general, this detail-oriented professional is responsible for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes. Should any defects be found, it’s up to the QC Manager and their team to apply corrective actions. With a quality assurance specialist to build upon this reputation with an unwavering commitment to meticulous production. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy, security, and safety. You will be charged with developing a complete QC program that not only safeguards the quality of our products, but also fosters a “quality culture,” in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product.
Requirements
* Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing products to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
* Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels, as well as 3PL, environmental, health and safety.
* Analyze and investigate product complaints from the QC techs or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements if applicable.
* Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation and proper documentation of complaints.
* Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain, and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development.
* Provide training and support to quality control teams on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
* Manage the Quality Control employees via the QuickBox standards.
* Create Labor Efficiency within the department to maintain Operation Excellence.
1) 3 years’ experience in a supervisor or management position
2) Experience in sending daily reports
3) Strong understanding in complex math; percentages, multiplication of decimals, addition and subtraction, Algebra
4) Ability to lead a team
5) Must be capable of multitasking and communicating with a variety of people and personalities
6) Strong written and verbal communication skills
7) High School diploma or equivalent
8) College level education
9) 1-3 years of QC experience
10) Proficiency in Microsoft suite, mainly Excel and One Note
11) 5 or more years of leadership experience
