Our Software Engineer I plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include researching, designing, and writing new software as well as maintenance of existing software for the organization.  This position is responsible for projects/matters of limited complexity or in a supporting role. This role is closely managed and highly directed. LogicStream, a QuVa company, is trusted by a community of high-performing healthcare providers and partners to generate clinical insights from clinical data.  Join this mission to provide (SaaS) clinical insights, data services, and life science products to provide meaningful data and a long-lasting impact on healthcare across the US.

This is a hybrid position located in the Minneapolis / Twin Cities office.

 What the Software Engineer I Does Each Day:

  • C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JS, SQL
  • Working closely with senior engineers and product managers to implement new features based on user requirements and business needs
  • Investigating and resolving software defects, improving existing code, and ensuring the stability and performance of applications
  • Assisting in database design and interaction, writing queries, and ensuring seamless integration between the application and data layers
  • Engaging in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives as part of our agile development process
  • Writing unit tests, performing integration testing, and working with QA to ensure software quality
  • Taking advantage of opportunities to learn from more senior team members, explore new technologies, and continuously improve your development skills
  • Writing technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts of software systems
  • Providing tier 3 support by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  • 0-3 years Software Development Experience
  • General knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including following coding standards, performing code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployments
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
