What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Crew Lead / Journeyman position at RADIX?
Radix is on a mission to create a bright future for families, so they can live a life powered by purpose, for generations to come. Radix is looking for a Solar Crew Lead Journeyman to join our Residential Installation team in Idaho Falls.
Job Duties
- Serve as the head of PV Solar installation
- Ability to train, mentor, and oversee others
- Ability to bend pipe, tie the solar system into the main service panel, assemble and commission inverter (central and micro inverters), and PV solar system.
- Review & implement PV plans for roof, electrical, and panel layout.
- Adhere to company guidelines and policies.
- Attend mandatory team meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Licensed Electrician
- Able to lift solar panels and heavy equipment up to 70 lbs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school education or equivalent
- 2 years of Solar experience
- Previous crew lead experience is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
