Job Description:
Rage Powerboats, a full-service OEM Mercury provider and manufacturer of Rage Powerboat models, is seeking an experienced Fiberglass Laminator to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about boat building and looking to advance in the marine industry, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performance boat manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Laminate layers of fiberglass on molds to form boat decks and hulls
- Work with gel coat, paint, resin, composites, and wood
- Perform heavy lifting and use general tools
- Repair a variety of boats including inboard, outboard, personal watercraft, and trailers
- Assist in the setup and testing of new boats
- Move boats ranging from 16' to 40' in length
- Ensure a positive service experience for our customers
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Problem-solve and handle tasks efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fiberglass lamination or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of boat manufacturing and tooling
- Comfortable using a wide range of shop tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- Bonus opportunities
