Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights- 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Pay Details:
TRAVELERS ONLY:
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $72.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,880.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $40.85
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,634.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,246.00
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $78.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $3,120.00
License:
· Must have a valid ARMDS
· BLS Certification (AHA)
Experience:
· At least 2 years of previous General Ultrasound experience.
· Must have experience with all age groups.
Essential Functions:
· Perform Ultrasound Examinations: Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
· Prepare and Position Patients: Position patients appropriately and apply gel to ensure clear imaging during the procedure.
· Monitor and Evaluate Images: Review ultrasound images for quality, ensuring they provide accurate diagnostic information.
· Document and Record Results: Maintain detailed records of ultrasound procedures, patient information, and results.
· Maintain Equipment: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and maintained for safe use.
· Assist Physicians: Provide images and related information to the physician to help with diagnosis and treatment planning.
Skills and Responsibilities:
· Operate Ultrasound Equipment: Use specialized ultrasound machines to capture images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow.
· Prepare Patients: Position patients correctly, apply ultrasound gel, and ensure their comfort during the procedure.
· Monitor Image Quality: Adjust equipment settings to capture clear and accurate images for diagnostic purposes.
· Evaluate Ultrasound Images: Assess image quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure precise diagnostic results.
· Document Patient Information: Accurately record patient data, procedure details, and ultrasound findings in medical records.
· Assist Physicians: Provide images and detailed findings to physicians for diagnosis, treatment planning, or follow-up care.
· Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
· Ensure Patient Safety: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
· Communicate with Patients: Explain the procedure to patients, addressing any questions or concerns to reduce anxiety.
· Stay Updated on Technology: Keep up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to provide the best care.
