We are looking for an organized Parts Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers, assisting with parts sales, inventory management, and ensuring that customers receive the correct parts and accessories for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire parts sales process, ensuring seamless service from beginning to end.
- Collaborate with the Parts Manager to source and order parts that are out of stock.
- Process and complete special order requests for customers efficiently.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their parts orders.
- Interact with both customers and staff in a courteous, professional, and approachable manner.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations relevant to the automotive industry.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department or similar retail setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with parts handling.
