What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echocardiographer position at Randolph Hospital?
Performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate cardiac anatomy and function for interpretation by a physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited school of Ultrasound program specializing in echocardiography. Certification by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical sonographer in echocardiography or an equivalent. One-year experience as an echocardiographer with emphasis on stress echocardiography, transesophogeal echocardiography, 2 dimensional echocardiography with and without Doppler. CPR certified.
