As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the architectural design and development process of commercial buildings across various industries. You will collaborate closely with project engineers and clients, ensuring that a client’s needs are translated into innovative architectural concepts. Your responsibilities will include developing designs, creating technical drawings, and ensuring projects adhere to relevant codes and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
· Utilize AutoCAD to develop design drawings.
· Review architectural design and construction documents using AutoCAD.
· Develop architectural concept, project design, construction drawings, details, and specifications.
· Participate in shop drawing reviews and other construction administration duties.
· Prepare written communications for clients and other parties involved with the project.
· Produce and review project construction drawings, details, and specifications.
· Conduct code regulation reviews to ensure compliance.
· Attend meetings during regular business hours and outside of normal hours as needed.
· Serve as a resource and provide support to team members.
Minimum Qualifications
· Associates degree in Architectural Design or related programs; bachelor’s degree is preferred.
· Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit is preferred.
· Familiarity with the International Code Series.
· Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
· Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
· Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with integrity, respect, and a sense of responsibility.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, providing support to team members when needed.
· Ability to navigate uneven terrain in all climates and work safely on active construction sites.
· Valid Driver’s License
