Department: Operations – Services 

Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager

Location: Washington D.C.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 

Hours: Temporary Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Clearance: Secret 

Position Summary

The Warehouse Support position will deliver warehouse management support to a government client, assisting the Transition Team in advancing the program’s mission. This role is vital to RavenTek’s success on the contract and reflects its commitment to supporting the government customer.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist RDS Staff by filling supply orders accurately and promptly.
• Load and offload trucks, transport inventory within the warehouse, and manage the movement of items as needed.
• Clear offices of departing staff and sort office supplies to maintain an organized work environment.
• Receive, store, and distribute warehouse inventory; perform regular basic inventory checks and record findings accurately.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with client guidelines.
• Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
• Submit Status Reports to RavenTek Program Manager by deadline provided.
• Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
• Complete required compliance training as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education & Work Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.

• Secret clearance. 

Work Environment

Employees will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. The essential duties of this job are performed indoors and potentially outdoors and may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as extreme weather, extreme temperature and noise fluctuations, dust, vibrations, machinery, and hazardous materials.

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employees must be able to stand for extended periods of time and walk continuously throughout their shift; may need to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift machinery; need to move, lift, push, pull, and carry items that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., such as furniture, office equipment, and office supplies. The ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, stoop, crouch, and may also need to reach with their hands and arms and use their muscles for extended periods will be required for this position. The work may involve moderate exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and unpleasant odors. Employees must have the endurance to perform repetitive tasks over extended periods. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
