KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Ravn Alaska Ramp Service Agent is responsible for providing under-wing services for Company aircraft, which includes marshaling duties and baggage management tasks. The position works outdoors in all weather supporting airport operations and in collaboration with team members to safely achieve performance goals. Other responsibilities aligned with Ravn Alaska Core Values include but are not limited to:

• Upholding safety by complying with all aircraft safety regulations and abiding by policies and procedures established in the Company Airport Operations Manual (AOM) in regard to marshaling, refueling, towing, and driving while on airport property.
• Demonstrating commitment through safe, thorough and efficient ground duties, working as a team to turn aircraft and responsibly handle customer baggage.
• Acting with integrity when completing assigned tasks to a quality level where you are proud of and happily take ownership of your work.

• Showing reliability through maintaining knowledge of and familiarity with local airport, state, and federal regulations, as well as Company policies, to ensure operations are compliant and safe.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate has previous professional experience in a safety-focused environment, works well under pressure, and is able to follow established processes and procedures. Other qualifications include:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have the flexibility to work a varied duty schedule, which includes early and late shifts.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a public setting with multiple employees and distractions.
• Must be able to work extended periods of time in inclement weather conditions.
• Must be able to bend, twist, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to maintain a high standard for conscientious and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
