Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication between our clients and service department, ensuring seamless and exceptional customer service throughout the repair and maintenance process.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients scheduling service appointments and inquiries.
· Greeting clients in person and over the phone, providing professional and courteous assistance.
· Document client concerns and vehicle issues accurately and thoroughly.
- Prepare service and work orders detailing the scope of work and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure the timely completion of all repairs and maintenance.
- Provide clients with regular updates on their vehicle status and any additional services required.
· Communicate repair recommendations and pricing to clients in a clear and transparent manner.
· Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their vehicles and any additional work required.
- Maintain organized service records and track client interactions, inspection dates for reminders, etc.
- Consistently uphold the company's standards for exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally in the automotive or service truck industry. Open to all customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in computer software applications, including service management systems and MS Office.
- Familiarity with automotive or aerial lift terminology and basic mechanical knowledge.
· Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively alongside technicians and support staff.
- Adaptable to changing client needs and operational priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
