RCO Engineering has an immediate opening for a CNC Boring Mill Operator in our Roseville, MI facilities. The CNC Boring Mill Operator supports the aerospace and general production group in a fast-paced manufacturing business. The successful candidate must take pride in their work and enjoy working in a collaborative team.
Core Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating machines: Set up and operate CNC machines to drill, bore, ream, mill, or countersink metal or plastic work pieces,
- CAM Programming: Create machining programs using VISI and provided data to create quality end-product,
- Reading blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand task specifications and desired results,
- Measuring parts: Accurately measure parts using precision measuring instruments and gages,
- Maintaining machinery: Calibrate and maintain the machinery and other tools,
- Programming: Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function,
- Communicating: Communicate with other co-workers about job status and schedules,
- Replacing tools: Replace worn or damaged tools
Requirements & Qualifications
- Familiarity with Fanuc Control systems,
- Ability to set up parts in the machine,
- Ability to read prints,
- Promptness and good attendance,
- Experience in production and/or prototype injection molding,
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High School Diploma or GED
