- Working Days: 187 - 10 month working calendar
- Hourly Rate: $24.61-$30.36/hour plus benefits
- Grant-funded position for 1.5 years ending June 2026
- Mentor services are to include but are not limited to
- Educational services for core academics such as coursework, tutoring and credit recovery
- Essential and life skills, goal setting, fostering career and vocational-related interest
- Building relationships with students and families through weekly phone calls and meetings
- Collaborate and communicate with building administrators regarding individual students and create a plan for success
- Community Agency Partnerships
- Attend meetings with community agencies to grow and foster strong, positive relationships between the agency, the district and families. Agencies include but are not limited to: Family Resource Center (FRC), Youth Link, and DHS
- Connection with Families
- Communication between families to build a positive relationship
- Involving parents/guardians in academic, attendance, and or behavioral planning
- Support to habitually truant students to increase attendance and avoid truancy court
- Referrals to community services/social services
- Case Management
- Data to be collected on students in the program includes but is not limited to Attendance, Grades, Missing Assignments, Social-Emotional Skills, Discipline, progress in the program, etc..…
- Create biweekly reports for students in Truancy Court
- Attend biweekly Truancy Court hearings
- Associate degree or Higher in the field of Education, Social Work, or Psychology or 2 years experience in a similar position
- Good Communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate with various agencies and families
- Spanish speaking preferred but not required
- Ability to organize materials and meet deadlines in a timely manner

Job Description
Coordinator will provide students with weekly check-ins and educational and life skills along with wrap-around case management for students and families. Coordinator will create a plan of engagement with the students and their families to support attendance and academic improvements, as well as build a positive relationship with students. Grant funded ending June 30, 2026.
